The first article is about the fight against Ebola being waged by aid workers, doctors, and geneticists. One particular event in the story was particularly maddening to me, and I assume many here will feel the same way when you read it. Either way, it is well worth your time, and it will give you perspective that is hard to find elsewhere.
The second article is a history of Islam as told by an agnostic/atheist Pakistani man. It was quite interesting and made more sense to me than many other explanations I have read. He speaks of his experiences growing up during the middle of the 20th century and his background and explanation for his lack of belief, and then he backs up to the beginnings of Islam.
I hope you all find them as interesting as I did, and I look forward to reading any comments any of you have.
